A pandemic is worse than a world war, at least in numbers of dead bodies.
Plus, there are actuall means to surpress wide spread.

Even if this one is harmless, its better to care before things can get out of hand.

Dunno if the US media jumped all over the topic (as apear to have), but be honest, if it wasn't for this, they would have just continued ripping the somalie pirate stories and other stuff apart.

Its getting scary - I live in New Jersey - where the first reported swine fin the U.S. popped up. On top of that there are a lot of cases popping up about swine flu in this part of NJ =/

I read that article kind of late. I understand it's supposed to be at least part joke, but the author does a terrible job of distinguishing between what is intended to be satire and factual observation. Just pointing out something I want to know on whether it is made up...

It makes a huge difference when determining whether death is based on a psychological interpretation instead of a fixed event. I hope someone takes that description seriously and checks out what was both written and observed. Those are very important descriptions to not report accurately.
